São Paulo, January 12, 2022 – Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio (CBAV3) today, January 12, opened registration for its 2022 Internship Program at its sites in Alumínio (SP), São Paulo (SP), Itapissuma (PE), Poços de Caldas (MG) and Miraí (MG). Candidates can apply up to February 14 on the recruiting platform at https://estagiocba.gupy.io/.   This year, approximately 70 spots will be available for talents pursuing degrees in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Metallurgical, Mechatronics, Mining and Energy), Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Psychology and Law. The internship program has duration of two years. CBA is committed to fostering a culture that values people, and is seeking talents with the right fit for these roles. “Last year, 50% of applicants were women, and 51% of vacancies were filled by women. We have also seen increasing numbers of applicants self-identifying as black, disabled and/or LGBTQIA+. At CBA we welcome talents of all profiles who want to join us in our purpose of changing lives through aluminum, and we believe human diversity is the way to evolve as an organization and as a society,” says Lúcia Garcia, CBA’s Human & Organizational Development (HOD) manager.   The selection process will be fully online and supported by Eureca. After submitting their application, young talents take personalized, digital assessments and are ranked on alignment with the pillars of CBA’s culture and the job requirements. The best-ranked candidates will progress to group and individual interviews overseen by the HOD team and managers. If they pass, they progress to the matchmaking and hiring stages. Applicants can view their status at each stage of the selection process on the platform, which automates feedback and status tracking. Approved applicants undergo an onboarding process with special activities. Throughout the internship program, they attend a series of Development Workshops in which they share their impressions and understanding of CBA’s values, strategies and shared goals, and those of employees. “We also want to transform these talents through personal and professional development, and learn about their life stories, experiences, ideas and viewpoints. This enriches the workplace, drives innovation and makes us more competitive. Join us at CBA!” says Garcia.   Internships are on a paid basis and selected interns receive benefits such as health and dental insurance, life insurance, grocery allowances, meals and transportation.   About CBA Founded in 1955, Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio (CBAV3) is a vertically integrated, sustainable producer of high-quality aluminum products.
